Course Levels:

Beginners (A1 – Basic User):

At the Beginner level, we focus on building a solid foundation in the language. This includes learning the alphabet (if applicable), pronunciation, essential vocabulary, and basic grammar structures. Lessons are interactive and visually supported, using gestures, images, repetition, and real-life scenarios to aid understanding. Students learn to introduce themselves, exchange basic personal information, and engage in simple social interactions using common phrases and expressions.

By the end of this level, students will be able to understand and participate in short, everyday conversations, ask and respond to simple questions, and use the language in familiar and predictable situations.

Elementary (A2 – Basic User)

At the Elementary level, we help students build confidence in communicating about everyday topics. Lessons expand vocabulary and develop the ability to form simple but complete sentences. Students learn to ask for and give information, express needs and preferences, and describe people, places, and routines. We focus on improving listening and speaking skills for real-life situations such as shopping, ordering food, and giving directions.

Grammar instruction includes the use of regular and irregular verbs in the present and past tenses, articles, simple prepositions, and question formation. Interactive methods such as role-plays, guided dialogues, and listening activities reinforce language use and help develop practical communication skills.

By the end of this level, students will be able to manage short social interactions, understand simple spoken and written messages, and communicate their basic needs in everyday situations.

Pre-Intermediate (A2+/Low B1 – Basic User)

At the Pre-Intermediate level, we support students in moving beyond basic communication toward greater independence in using the language. Lessons introduce more complex vocabulary related to everyday situations, travel, and work. Students begin to express ideas more clearly, talk about past experiences, describe future plans, and give opinions with supporting reasons.

Grammar instruction includes the past simple and past continuous tenses, future forms, comparatives and superlatives, modal verbs (e.g., can, must, should), and an introduction to phrasal verbs. Reading and listening materials become more detailed, while speaking and writing tasks focus on building fluency and accuracy. Role-plays and scenario-based activities (e.g., making hotel reservations, asking for advice) allow students to use the language in practical, real-life contexts.

By the end of this level, students will be able to handle most common everyday tasks, understand longer conversations and simple articles, and write connected sentences and short paragraphs about familiar topics.

Intermediate (B1 – Independent User)

At the Intermediate level, the focus shifts to developing greater fluency and confidence across a range of real-world situations. Students learn to communicate with more flexibility in both social and professional contexts, using a wider range of vocabulary and more complex grammatical structures.

Lessons are designed to promote natural communication through discussions, storytelling, role-plays, and problem-solving activities. Grammar instruction includes conditionals, reported speech, and relative clauses, while vocabulary is expanded to include common idioms, phrasal verbs, and topic-specific terms. Students engage with longer, authentic reading and listening materials and improve their writing skills by composing emails, descriptions, and short essays.

By the end of this level, students will be able to manage most everyday conversations, understand the main points of authentic spoken and written texts, and express their thoughts and feelings clearly in both speech and writing.

Upper Intermediate (B2 – Independent User)

At the Upper Intermediate level, our focus is on refining both accuracy and fluency to prepare students for more advanced communication in academic, professional, and social settings. Lessons challenge students with more complex reading and listening materials and encourage confident speaking and writing in both formal and informal contexts.

We develop skills for nuanced expression, including structured argumentation, debating, and presenting viewpoints. Students learn to analyse abstract topics, follow detailed discussions, and interact naturally with native speakers. Grammar instruction covers advanced structures such as mixed conditionals, passive voice, and reported speech, while vocabulary expansion includes idiomatic expressions, phrasal verbs, and academic or work-related collocations.

Students engage in activities such as writing essays, reports, and reviews; participating in discussions; and presenting structured arguments. The aim is to support students in expressing themselves with clarity, precision, and coherence.

By the end of this level, students will be able to confidently participate in complex conversations, understand native speakers in most situations, and produce well-organised, detailed writing suitable for professional or academic use.

Advanced (C1 -C2 Proficient User)

At the Advanced level, our goal is to help students achieve near-native fluency and command of the language across academic, professional, and sophisticated social settings. Lessons are designed to refine precision, nuance, and style in both spoken and written communication.

Students engage with a wide range of complex and authentic materials, including academic articles, opinion pieces, and literary texts. We focus on recognising implicit meaning, mastering tone and register, and using idiomatic language naturally. Grammar instruction is fine-tuned to highlight subtle distinctions in usage, with an emphasis on stylistic accuracy and rhetorical effectiveness.

Activities include structured debates, critical analysis of abstract and controversial topics, advanced writing tasks (e.g. research papers, proposals, and formal correspondence), and presentations. Cultural competence and cross-cultural communication are also key components at this level.

By the end of this level, students will be able to understand and produce complex language with ease, engage in high-level discussions, and communicate effectively and appropriately in demanding academic or professional environments.
